PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that there has been introduced before the Board of Trustees of the Village of Montgomery, a local law entitled “A Local Law Providing for a Partial Tax Exemption Upon Real Property Based Upon the Owner’s Volunteer Membership In The Montgomery Fire District or A Duly Incorporated Volunteer Ambulance Service Pursuant To Section 466-A Of The Real Property Tax Law.”
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Montgomery on February 26, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. at Village Hall, 133 Clinton Street, Montgomery, New York to consider the adoption of the aforesaid introductory local law.
Any person is entitled to be heard upon said proposed Local Law at such public hearing.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Montgomery will be moved from Tuesday, February 20, 2024, to Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. and shall be held at the Village of Montgomery Village
Hall, located at 133 Clinton Street, Montgomery, New York. During said meeting, any lawful business of the Village shall be conducted.

At the regular January 2, 2024, meeting of the Board of Trustee of the Village of Montgomery, the following resolution was offered by Trustee Conero, seconded by Trustee Hembury, moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, the Special Village Election for Officers will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees must designate by resolution and publish the offices which are to be filled in such election terms thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees designates the following office as vacant at the election to be held on March 19, 2024, for the following terms:
Office Term
Mayor 3 Years
Trustee 1 Year
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the Deputy Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this resolution in full in the Wallkill Valley Times.
This resolution shall take effect immediately.
