Village Notices

At the regular November 1, 2022 meeting of the Board of Trustee of the Village of Montgomery, the following resolution was offered by Deputy Mayor Scheels, seconded by Trustee Hembury moved its adoption:

 WHEREAS, the next general Village Election for Officers will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 and, WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees must designate by resolution and publish the offices which are to be filled in such election terms thereof.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees designates the following office as vacant at the election to be held on March 21, 2023 for the following terms:

Mayor 4 Years
Trustee 4 Years
Trustee 4 Years
Justice 4 Years

 

IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this resolution in full in the Wallkill Valley Times.

This resolution shall take effect immediately.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Planning Board of the Village of Montgomery will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at 7:30 P.M. or as soon thereafter as can be heard at the Village Hall, 133 Clinton Street, Montgomery, NY 12549, to consider the application of Rowley Development Corp., (the “Rowley Railroad Avenue Application”), to permit a 9-lot major subdivision for the construction of 7 two-family dwellings in the R-6 zoning district and a mixed use commercial and residential building with associated improvements in the B-2 zoning district. The public hearing will consider the application for major subdivision approval, site plan approval and special exception use approval, and will also consider the potential adverse environmental impacts associated with the application.

The property has frontage on Railroad Avenue and Clinton Street and is designated on the tax map as Section 202, Block 13, Lot 1.123, Section 202, Block 13, Lot 5.21 and Section 202, Block 12, Lot 5.22. The Property is located in the R-6 and B-2 zoning districts.
