Village Notices

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Planning Board of the Village of Montgomery will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 7:30 P.M. or as soon thereafter as can be heard at the Village Hall, 133 Clinton Street, Montgomery, NY 12549 to consider the applications of Food Bank of the Hudson Valley, for subdivision and site plan approval.

The project proposes a four-lot subdivision of a 116.6-acre tract of land that includes two existing tax parcels – one in the Village of Montgomery and one in the Town of Montgomery.  The site plan application proposes the construction of a 40,000 square foot warehouse on proposed Lot 1within the Village.  The property has frontage on Route 416/Union Street and Route 416/ Neelytown Road and is designated on the Village tax map as Section 214, Block 1, Lot 1. The Property is located in the I-1 (Industrial Park) zoning district.

The Planning Board will hold a public hearing to consider the applications and any potential adverse environmental impacts pursuant to SEQRA. The Planning Board has declared itself lead agency for this Type 1 matter.

At the above date, time and place all interested persons will be given a reasonable opportunity to be heard. Written comments will be received by the Board no later than June 22, 2022.

THAT A PUBLIC HEARING will be held by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Montgomery on Tuesday June 7, 2022 at 7:15 P.M. at Montgomery Village Hall located at 133 Clinton Street, Montgomery, New York regarding the proposed Application for the FY-2023 Orange County Community Development Block Grant Program.

The Village invites public comments and suggestions regarding projects to be considered for funding under the Orange County Community Development Block Grant Program. Under this Program a variety of physical improvements as listed below are eligible for funding: acquisition and disposition or real property; public works, public facilities or site improvements;  code enforcement (housing and health codes); clearance, demolition and rehabilitation for public use or economic development; housing rehabilitation loan and grants; special projects for elderly and handicapped; provision of public services (shelter, clinics, senior nutrition, etc.); payment of non-federal shares of other grant programs; relocation payments and assistance.  The Town/Village will be considering projects to be submitted to the Orange County Community Development Block Grant Program.  The deadline for submittal is June 24, 2022.

The Village Board will at the above date, time and place hear all persons interested in the subject matter hereof.  Persons may appear in person or by agent.  All written communications addressed to the Board must be received by the Board at or prior to the public hearing which communications may be sent to the Clerk’s office as follows:
